This beautifully sun-drenched Clyde Hill Mid-Century Modern home went pending within hours of hitting the market. We call that a major staging success story! Our design team leaned heavily into the mid-century architecture in the design concept. We complemented it with classic mid-century jewel tones to create a warm and elegant home for a younger family.
In the main room, we split the space into a living area and dining area. For the living area we brought in two white sofas, two teal accent chairs, and a brass and glass coffee table to create a conversational area surrounding, but not crowding, the fireplace. In the dining area, a chrome glass table and a set of six dining chairs are anchored by a hide and a piece of classic mid-century art. Additionally, off the kitchen, we used a sofa and two chairs to create a cozy family room.
Down the hallway, the primary bedroom suite features a king bed, a petite loveseat and a console table to highlight the ample amount of space within the room. The teen room sees a queen bed with textured oranges and shades of navy to create a fun, yet sophisticated space. In the kids room uses gentle pops of green and pink.
The lower level features another classic mid-century palette of red and orange. A cream sofa and accent chair, along with a game table, fill the media room. This creates the perfect environment for entertaining family and friends. Finally, tucked away in the office is a glass desk, orange desk chair and cream accent chair.
