Shirin Sarikhani started Seattle Staged to Sell from her home in 2005. With two young girls and eager to explore her interest in the design industry, she started a staging business from her home. As her daughters grew, so did the business. Nearly 15 years later, Seattle Staged to Sell is an award winning, female owned and managed staging company taking Seattle by storm.
“As my kids grew older and I had more time to focus on the business, I expanded our services and added new designers to help with the demanding workload. Often times, when home sellers saw their homes transformed after staging, they would ask us to design their new homes. The demand was high enough that I decided it was time to offer a full interior design service. This is how “& Design” was added to our business name and we became Seattle Staged To Sell & Design.”
Shirin has since grown our team into a powerful group of women, supported by our strong and dependable warehouse staff. Both the administration and design teams are fully composed of women, supporting the business from the office and remotely. Three designers and one assistant now make up the design team which at one time only consisted of Shirin herself. The office team and supporting staff is a team of six women, working remotely and in-house.
With a number of Houzz awards and a number two rating on Yelp, Seattle Staged To Sell is unstoppable. In addition to staging, the company now offers full interior design services. As we approach the end of another decade we reflect and celebrate Seattle Staged to Sell. In fifteen years, Shirin has accomplished so many things. We look forward to seeing and sharing what is in store in the New Year with Seattle Staged to Sell.
